Today I want to share something with you that is kinda a
recipe, but also kinda just a little lifehack.
How to make healthy, low calorie tortilla chips SUPER
simple.
I mean there is not even real baking involved it’s that
simple ;)
But I do think this will change your evening snacking
experience if you give it a try!
Whole grain tortilla wraps
Scissors
Oven
Okay I know I just said there is no REAL baking involved but
you will still have to pre-heat your oven to 180 degrees.
Then you just cut your whole grain tortilla wraps into small
chip sized pieces. I think I got roughly 25 out of each wrap I used. Then place
all your little chips on a baking tray and put them in the oven until they are
crispy. This took me maybe 10mins.
And voila you have created healthy & wholegrain tortilla
chips that taste delicious!
Now the next step in making your evening snack EVEN
healthier would be to make your own salsa or healthy dips. I have a blog post
on healthy dips you can read HERE. And I tried to make my own salsa but it
really didn’t work – it just wasn’t as simple as the chips part. haha
And there you have it healthy & simple tortilla chips.
If you try only ONE thing from my blog, this is probably the
easiest & most satisfying one. ;)
