Hello lovelies,
I saw a post on instagram, which made me think that I had to write a blog post about this.

“People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and New Year, but really they should be worried about what they eat between New Year and Christmas”

This is so so true!

It doesn’t matter what you eat these few days between Christmas and New Year, if you know exactly what you are eating between New Year and Christmas.
Don’t give yourself a hard time for over indulging for these last few days of the year.
And then you will be able to get right back at it in 2016!

So on that note - go enjoy some chocolate & relax with your family and friends, and don’t worry!

Check out some festive fun I had with my brother in this weeks youtube video:

Stay happy & healthy you lovely lot,

You don't need a gym to stay fit this holiday season

Hello lovelies,
Where has the time gone?!
Half of my last year of my undergraduate degree is already over!! WHAT?
I can’t believe Christmas & 2016 is right around the corner.

I don’t know about you, but for me a routine is so important to help me stay on track. And let’s be honest, this time of year the routine has been thrown out of the window weeks ago.
A lot of us are going back home for the holidays, or going on holiday somewhere, which means we don’t have our normal healthy lifestyle routines heck; we might not even have access to a gym.
For me I’m heading to London over Christmas (no gym membership for me) and then to CUBAAAA over new years (probably small hotel gym). So I know I won’t be able to stick to my normal gym routine. Which is why I wanted to concentrate on home workouts / outdoor workouts this week.
Because it can be so so easy!

I filmed a small outdoor workout Youtube video this week that I think anyone can do.

Sometimes we just need to remember to use what we have available around us.
Like a chair, park bench, water bottle or even just the floor!

This blog post and video isn’t just for you guys, I see it as a reminder to myself too. YOU DON’T NEED A GYM TO STAY FIT!

No gym, no problem!

Stay happy & healthy lovelies

And tell me all about your holiday plans below! Where are you spending Christmas & new years?

Late Night Sushi - London Adventures

Hello lovelies,
It’s time for another London food adventures blog post.

After loads of university deadlines and some family matters it’s needless to say the last few weeks have been stressful, which is why I’ve escaped into London for a mini break just before my autumn term of university comes to an end.

And what better way to start my London mini break than with a late night sushi & cocktails session at the amazing Sushisamba restaurant.

Sushisama is located on the 38th floor in heron tower, which obviously means there is a spectacular view of London to enjoy alongside your food fest. I made the reservations more than a week ago but we could still only get a table for 9.45pm so tip number 1: book a FEW weeks in advance if you want to choose at what time to have dinner.

After having had a snack at 5pm to make sure we we’re starving by 10pm we made our way to Liverpool street and straight into the lift & up to the 38th floor. The lift itself already has an amazing view to offer as you rise above all the building around you until London looks more like a picture than the city you were standing amongst a few second ago.

Once we got up to the restaurant the atmosphere was buzzing. Cute lights were hanging from the ceiling and people were chatting away while the view of London lingered around them. We were lucky to get a table nearly one of the windows so we can first row seats to the outstanding view.

The menu at Sushisamba is a fusion menu between Japanese, Brazilian & Peruvian cuisine. The waiters and waitresses were all really attentive and helpful and explained to us that the concept at Sushisamba is a bit like Spanish tapas – all the orders will come at the same time and will be shared.

The menu had loads to offer from sushi to Japanese and Peruvian grill. But we were really craving sushi so we just went for 4 sushi dish, the Samba London, Tiger Maki and the tuna & salmon nigiri. All of which was delicious but I think our favourite were the Tiger Maki rolls.

They also had loads of creative cocktails that all sounded fantastic. For our first round we tried the Nashi Martini and the Nina Fresa – both of which were so so good! For my second cocktail I had the Lychee cooler, which was not such a winner.

After two hours of sushi and cocktails we took the lift back down to reality.

Amazing view, delicious food & good cocktails – but high prices.
Have you been?

Santa Says Squat #RebelChristmASS

Hello lovelies,
Even though I don’t have a new Youtube video for you this week
(Just check out my older ones!!)

here is this weeks blog post!

On Tuesday I was kindly invited by the 1mpact Club to the 1Rebel gym in London for a kick ass workout, literally! A lower body reshape class in celebration of the #RebelChristmAss campaign.
The event was sponsored by yogangster so we all got bright orange tiny winy booty holders and super cute white crop tops.
We all got changed and then got down to business – 45 minutes of sprints, squats & sweat.

This was my second reshape class and honestly its killer but in the best of ways.

After our sweat party we all enjoyed delicious food and some cheeky healthy booty cake.

All round a fantastic event, I mean everyone loves butts, right?!
1Rebel is offering BootyBuilding sweat parties all throughout December so if you’re up for a challenge go give it a try!

 You won’t regret it, I promise ;)

Stay happy & healthy lovelies
